Credit applications and approvals
Built a credit operating system connecting applications, supporting evidence, credit assessment and approvals.
The business problem
A credit case needs a clear path from the initial application to a decision. Information, assessment and approval must stay connected as the case moves between people and systems.
What domain understanding changed
Lending policies, exceptions and decision authority shape how each case moves forward. The workflow must know what information is needed, which rules apply and who may make the decision.
What we built
We connected intake, documents, extracted facts and assessment within a persisted credit case. The workflow separates evidence, policy, approval and execution authority, so assembling or assessing a case does not silently authorise a lending action. This reusable control pattern keeps the business process and its decision responsibilities explicit.
The role of AI
Domain-focused agents support credit assessment and case progression within defined rules and decision authority. Work beyond an agent's authority is routed for review.
Does processing an application mean approving the loan?
No. Bringing a case together, assessing it and authorising a decision are distinct responsibilities in the workflow.
