Intelligence and automation at the edge

Developed edge-computing applications for rural telecom networks, smart cities, healthcare and security, including automation close to where the work happens.

The business problem

Some processing and operational decisions need to happen close to the network, device or equipment involved. Connectivity and local conditions shape what can run there.

What domain understanding changed

A rural telecom network, a healthcare application and a security system have different operating needs. Local equipment, connectivity and the consequences of interruption must influence the design.

What we built

We developed edge applications around those conditions, bringing processing and automation closer to the services they support. The work spans rural connectivity, smart-city use cases, healthcare and security.

Why put computing at the edge?

Processing close to equipment or users can fit local operating needs. The decision depends on the service, its equipment and connectivity, rather than assuming every task belongs in the same place.

Relevant capabilities

Edge computing, software, automation, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
